day 5 of 3 days toilet training

i am more confident now to say that my son is toilet trained at 2 years and 4 months old. i thought we would need more than just 3 days of training but now that we're on the 5th day, i can see how well my little one is doing. there are still some accidents but it usually happens when he is very engaged to what he is doing.

therefore, i can say that this 3 day training method work when both of you and your child are ready. i am also happy that my hubby was helpful too in taking Ty to the washroom. I am glad to achieve my goal on having Ty trained before his little brother comes out. At least we dont have to buy 2sets of diaper.

day 4 of 3 days toilet training

We're doing much progress today. We only had one pee accident. He still doesnt tell me when he has to pee when we're at home, probably because I always ask him first when he had too. and when he had too, he gladly goes with me to the potty. maybe, i should stop "forcing" him to seat on the potty when he said no so i wont have any resistance.

we were in the clinic for my prenatal check up and he told us he has to pee. its kinda funny because he was running around to each room in the clinic in search for the washroom. Im proud that he was able to hold his pee as we go look for the washroom. He even kept hiimself dry despite the traffic when he had kept asking for weewee!

day 3 of 3 days toilet training

we're supposed to do a morning and afternoon outdoor trip today but i've been waiting for him to go in the morning as he usually does but he didnt do any at all today. so i was just able to take him out in the afternoon. we went in the playground for 1 hour without any accidents. he peed before we left and after we were able to come back home. his dad wanted to go to the mall so i dressed him up with some training underpants. i am surprised that he did ask me to go to the washroom while we were in the mall.but since i still had make a dash to the washroom, he already peed a little on his training undies but he still peed on the toilet. we only had few pee accidents today but he is still not telling me if he wanna go. i always have to ask him still.i dont think he would be fully train anytime soon but im not giving up still. i remember reading somewhere that it takes 21 days to make something as a habit so probably my little boy needs more than just 3 days of training..

day 2 of 3 days toilet training

just as i was hoping he would do better today, he didnt. we had more pee accidents and 1 poop accident. he never ask me to go to the potty today. i always had to ask him if he wants too. he would always say no but when i try to bring him in the potty he would actually pee in there. i dont know if he wasnt just ready to be toilet train but i dont wanna give up just yet even if it's starting to frustrate me. at least we were able to do the one hour outdoor afternoon trip without any accidents. i dont really think that it would just take 3 days for us to be toilet train. it may take us more days but i aint giving up..

day 1 of 3 day toilet training

i havent really done any research on how to toilet train. i just read some blogs and see if their method will work on my child too.

im trying the 3 day toilet training and today is our day 1. so i let my son go naked from waist down after i had let him pee on the potty upon waking up this morning. it was a battle already at the start cause he wanna put on his pants. yet i was able to distract him and get him to forget that he wants his pants on. so far i would say we were doing great at the early part of the day. he would say pee-pee when he had to pee and when he had to poop. but he seem to be distracted in the afternoon that we end up with 3 pee accidents. nevertheless, im pretty happy on how well he's doing in day 1. hopefully tomorrow he would still tell me when he would like to use the potty..
